Zephyr Inline Skate Tours was the first inline skate tour company in the world and, in the year 2000, we will be in our fourth season of creating vacations for skaters. On our website you will find all the information (in English) you need to choose and prepare for a skate tour. We will soon have this page translated into German, Italian, Dutch, French, Danish, and Russian.
Unlike some tours you might take, you will find that a skate tour with Zephyr is a full-service vacation. In addition to arranging food, lodging, and airport transfer we also provide you with two professional tour leaders, daily skating instruction, and a support wagon. Our maximum group size is always 24 skaters and we get excellent reviews from our customers! Because our customers come from many different countries and sometimes like to stay extra days on their own, we let you arrange your own transportation to the tour.
The majority of our customers are from the United States. However, we value our customers from other countries and have created several special tours in 2000 just for you. You are welcome to sign up for any of the tours on our regular schedule. We also have listed below one special tour for our international customers: The Netherlands. To sign up for any of the tours you can do so on the website or call us at 1-612-285-1999.
Please sign up to be on our International Email List or Request a Free Brochure to get more information.
We hope you can
join us in 2000!

Skate Tours
Included in the Special Tour:
Netherlands, August 26 September 1 (7 days): USD 1665
We have been running our Netherlands tours since 1997 and they are one of our most popular locations. We skate in the northern province of Friesland where the land is flat, bike paths are everywhere, and canals and dikes cross through the countryside. In 2000, we are running our August 26th tour as a special International Tour for skaters from all over the world. For a full description in English of this tour see our main website.
On August 26 (Saturday) we meet in Amsterdam and shuttle north to Hoorn on the Ijselmeer Sea. We spend two days skating on the local dikes and two nights in the lovely Hotel Die Port van Cleve. On Monday we take a ferry across the Ijselmeer Sea to Friesland. We spend the next four days in the towns of Sneek and Harlingen, skating through small towns and visiting a skate museum and a cheese factory. We enjoy dinners such as a "pannekoeken" Dutch specialty and an Indonesian meal. By Friday, we have a final morning skate and return to Amsterdam by bus. You can extend your vacation by joining the Friday Night Skate in Amsterdam either before or after the tour but you are on your own!
