NOTE: If you plan on coming to the post-skate BBQ [if there is one], only buy a One Way ticket to Ridgewood. There is a bus 5 blocks from my house that you can take back to the Port Authority Bus Terminal on 42nd St.

"Please note that you may not ride or use skateboards, in-line skates, rollerskates or scooters on PATH stations, on platforms or while in a train."

NJ Transit -
"The wearing of in-line skates (rollerblades) will not be permitted on-board trains or buses."

2) RIDGEWOOD BUS TERMINAL to RIDGEWOOD TRAIN STATION

WHERE:
The buses travel to the Ridgewood Bus Terminal at Van Neste Square, a short walk to the Ridgewood Train Station on Garber Square.

Walk* along the square down Oak Street to the end of the block. Make a left onto East Ridgewood Ave. The train line is 2 blocks straight ahead. Make a right onto North Broad Street and walk to the FAR END OF THE BLOCK. We will be meeting on the left side in front of the train depot. As you walk down the block you will pass a "Bagelicious" bagel shop, a "Specialty Cup" coffee house, and a Dunkin Donuts where you can gat breakfast/supplies for the skate.

* NOTE: Local Ordinance - Skating is not allowed in the business district.
3) RIDGEWOOD TRAIN STATION to SADDLE RIVER COUNTY PARK

WHERE:
Ridgewood Station - Garber Square at the foot of West Ridgewood Ave. Intersections of N. Broad Street & Franklin Ave.

You will be met at the train station. My car will be available to store backpacks while we skate. Promptly at 11:00a.m. we will depart and skate to the park.
